Mangingisda na nagtitiwala sa kalikasan,

Humihingi ng paalam sa mga Bathala at Bathaluman bago mag layag,

Nakikipag usap sa Hangin at Dagat,

Ginagabayan ng mga Ibon at Bituin papunta sa tamang daan,

Matapang at may mahabang pasensya,

Umaasam sa masagana na kinabukasan. 

Mangingisda mga Ninuno ko, 

Maraming salamat sa inyo,

Ang hirap at ang inyong pakikibaka ang dahilan kung bakit ako ay Buhay at naririto. 

Fisherfolk

Fisherfolk who trust the Nature,

Asks permission to the Gods and Goddesses before set sail,

Talks to the Wind and the Ocean,

Guided by Birds and Stars on the way to the right path,

Brave and have lots of patience, 

Longing for a prosperous future. 

My Ancestors are Fisherfolks,
